An engagement is usually a smaller, warmer evening than the wedding that follows it — often family, often at home or one hall, and often arranged in a few weeks rather than a year. The invitation should match that: short, clear, and easy to send.
Say which occasion this actually is
خطوبة, كتب كتاب and a reception are three different evenings, and guests genuinely cannot always tell which one they have been invited to. Name it plainly on the invitation. If the كتب كتاب is happening the same night, give it its own time — people plan their arrival around whether the religious part is something they are expected to attend.
A smaller guest list changes what matters
For fifty people in a family home, the useful details are different from a four-hundred-person wedding. The exact address matters more, because there is no venue name to search for. The end time matters, because guests are deciding whether to eat first. And an accurate head count matters more per person, since one unexpected family of six is a noticeable problem at that scale.
Arranged quickly, changed often
Engagements are frequently set within weeks and details move right up to the day. The link never changes, so you can correct the venue or shift the time after sending and everyone sees the current version — no follow-up message, no guest arriving somewhere you left an hour ago.
Written in the language your family reads
Engagement guests skew towards family, which often means the older relatives who are least comfortable with an English-only invitation and least likely to say so. Write it in Arabic, in English, or in both at once. Arabic here is properly set — joined, right-to-left, with Arabic numerals and month names.
Designs made for engagements
The same designs as the wedding collection, because an engagement in Egypt is rarely a casual evening — and your content moves with you if you change your mind.

Common questions
Can I use the same invitation for the engagement and the wedding?
They work better as two invitations. The guest lists usually differ, the replies need counting separately, and one invitation covering both evenings is exactly the thing guests misread. Making a second one takes a couple of minutes.
Can I put the كتب كتاب and the party on one invitation?
Yes — if they are the same evening. Each gets its own time, place and map, so guests can see they are invited to both and plan when to arrive.
Most of my guests are family. Do they need the app?
There is no app. A guest opens the link, taps whether they are coming, and that is the whole interaction. It works on any phone with a browser.
Is it really free?
Yes, up to 150 attendees, with every design included. Most engagements are comfortably inside that.
